"Fees popped up at the last minute"
Buying the tickets was straightforward, but the weird part is I didn’t really see the full total until I was almost done checking out. The fees made the price jump more than I expected, which was kind of frustrating. I don’t mind paying fees if they’re clear from the start, but this felt a little unclear. Not a terrible site or anything, I just wish they were more upfront earlier...

"Support was quick and fair"
I reached out to support expecting it might take a while, but they got back to me really fast and had my issue fixed the same day. To be fair, that’s exactly the kind of service you hope for when something goes wrong.

"Ridiculously poor communication with patrons"
I’m disappointed with OvationTix. The emails I got were confusing, and I ended up having to dig around just to find basic info about my tickets, which is ridiculous. When I reached out for help, the response was slow and still didn’t really clear things up. For a service that handles events and ticketing, communicating with patrons should be much better than this.

"Gets the job done, but the admin side is clunky"
ovationtix is fine for handling tickets and pulling reports, so the basics are definitely there. But using the admin side day to day can feel a bit slow and awkward. Some things take more clicks than they really should, and I’ve had moments where I’m clicking around trying to find where something lives. It works, but it could definitely be smoother.
"Pages were too slow for me to feel comfortable checking out"
I tried using ovationtix.com to buy tickets, and the site felt sluggish. Pages would hang for a few seconds, sometimes longer, before anything actually loaded.
That made checkout feel more stressful than it needed to be. I kept wondering if my click went through, if the page froze, or if I was going to accidentally submit something twice, so I ended up refreshing a couple times.
Buying tickets online already feels a little risky when you’re dealing with limited seats and payment info, so the slow loading didn’t inspire much confidence. Hopefully they smooth it out soon

"First impression: not screen reader friendly"
My first impression was frustrating. I use a screen reader, and right away it felt like the accessibility just wasn’t there. I had a hard time navigating and figuring out what was on the screen, so using it became more of a hassle than it should’ve been.

"Seat selection was a little clunky"
Using ovationtix was mostly fine, but picking seats wasn’t the smoothest. I was able to choose them in the end, but it wasn’t super clear at first what I was supposed to do, and that part was weird. It worked out eventually, just not as easy as I expected

"Logging in was a breeze"
I got in quickly, which was a relief, but the password reset felt a little slow and kind of tested my patience.

"Works fine for donations, despite a few annoyances"
We used OvationTix to take donations along with ticket sales, and I’ll admit it got the job done. Setting up different donation amounts was straightforward, and it was easy enough to see who contributed. The mobile checkout felt a bit awkward and not as smooth as I’d hoped, but it worked well enough for what we needed.

"The service itself is decent enough, nothing..."
The service itself is decent enough, nothing amazing but it gets the job done. The annoying part is all the extra fees piling up like little money goblins. By the end, it felt more expensive than it should’ve.

"Checkout was quick and easy"
I used ovationtix.com to buy tickets, the whole checkout process was straightforward 🙂
I picked my seats, entered my card info, and didn’t hit any weird errors or confusing extra steps. The confirmation email showed up right away too, which I always appreciate.
The only thing I did was double-check the fees before paying, but that was simple enough. Overall, it was a smooth experience and I’d definitely use it again.

"Trying to use the box office tools was..."
Trying to use the box office tools was a nightmare. Nothing felt smooth or easy, and I kept running into issues that made the whole process way more stressful than it needed to be. Like, how is this okay for something people are supposed to rely on?

"I mostly use OvationTix to keep..."
I mostly use OvationTix to keep track of ticket inventory, it does the job better than I expected. The counts update quickly, and it’s usually easy to see what seats are still available. I did get a little tripped up with holds one time, but support helped me sort it out. It’s not perfect, and I wouldn’t say I love everything about it, but I have to admit it makes managing seats a lot less stressful.

"The show info checked out"
I used OvationTix to look up a show before buying tickets, and from my experience, the details were spot on. The time, venue, and seating info all matched exactly when I got there, so I didn’t run into any last-minute confusion. I always feel like event listings can be hit or miss, but this one was straightforward and accurate. Overall, it was an easy experience and I appreciated not having any weird surprises.
"I mostly use ovationtix for basic account things..."
I mostly use ovationtix for basic account things, like looking up old orders or changing my info when I need to. So far it’s been easy enough to figure out, and I don’t think I’ve run into any real problems signing in or finding what I’m looking for.
A few of the pages do feel a bit dated, and they can be kind of slow here and there, but nothing that really gets in the way. Overall, it seems to handle what I need it to do, so I’d probably give it 4 stars.

"Tickets showed up right on time"
I got my tickets by email quickly and everything went smoothly. No hassles at all, which was kind of a nice surprise.

"The customer database is a headache"
We mainly use OvationTix for ticketing, and that part is fine enough, but the customer database is frustrating. It feels clunky, and keeping it clean takes way more effort than it should. Duplicate records show up all the time, and merging them is more of a hassle than you’d expect. Searching for past buyers can be really inconsistent too. On top of that, I feel like the terms or policies keep changing, which just adds another layer of annoyance. It technically works, but most of the time I feel like I’m fighting the system instead of just getting my work done.

"Exchange went through, just took some time"
Umm, I did get my exchange sorted out in the end, but the support team was a bit slow to respond. It worked out, just took longer than I expected.

"Makes membership renewals way easier"
Compared to the other tools I’ve used for managing memberships, this one makes renewals simple and straightforward. The initial setup was a little confusing at first, but once I got past that, it’s been easy to handle everything.

"Solid ticket site, surprisingly no drama"
I’ve used OvationTix a few times now it’s been reliable. The pages load fast, checkout hasn’t done that annoying thing where it freezes right when you’re trying to pay, and the tickets showed up in my email pretty much immediately. There was one time it lagged for a second, which of course made me think, “great, here we go,” because ticket sites love to make simple things stressful for no reason. But it sorted itself out and wasn’t a big deal. Overall, it works the way these sites are supposed to work, which sadly feels worth mentioning.
